George C. Moore Company, a Division of The Moore Company, has an opening for a Technical Manager of Elastic Narrow Fabrics in Westerly, Rhode Island.
Duties:
Provide technical training, direction and support to the Elastic Narrow Fabrics operations in the United States, Mexico and Central America. Work closely with the Design Team by providing assistance and direction with yarn type selection, fabric construction, and drafts. Share expertise as it relates to machine set up and operation. Domestic and International travel required 50% of time
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Textile Development and Marketing or related discipline or a foreign degree or education and/or experience equivalent to such a Bachelor’s Degree and five years experience in the job and five years experience as a Manager for the manufacture of elastic narrow fabric products; five years experience supervising elastic narrow woven fabrics construction; five years experience in the design of Jacquard elastic narrow woven fabric patterns; and experience in installing and designing, in a country other then the customary place of employment, one or more portions of elastic narrow fabrics operations and training personnel. The foregoing experience can be in an alternative occupation.
