The Problem: A leading personal care consumer brand wanted to launch a new line of washable, reuseable leak-proof underwear for adolescents with bladder control issues. The product needed to meet exacting specifications that guaranteed a minimum number of machine washes without losing performance properties.
The Inspiration: George C. Moore collaborated closely with its chemical partners and the customer directly to develop a unique, highly durable water repellant (DWR) product that exceeded the technical specification.
The Results: The customer was able to successfully introduce their leak-proof undergarment and capitalize on an untapped market. Our innovative elastic product also helped them take advantage of new opportunities in the quick-dry swimwear market. In both cases, a wet problem is now dry.
